Alan Hall, a remarkable cell and cancer biologist, died suddenly on 3 May in New York City. He was an outstanding researcher, teacher, and colleague. In the 1980s, in his early career, Alan was one of a small group of molecular biologists who first revealed how genetic changes could cause cancer. Alan and his colleagues undertook pioneering work that revealed the mechanisms through which the Rho family of small guanosine triphosphatases (GTPases) regulate the cytoskeleton and thus how cells control their shapes and movement. The Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a 5.15-inch 1080x1920 pixels display with curved 3D Ceramic glass, and a pixel density of 428ppi. The Mi 5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. The Mi 5 packs a 3000mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The Mi 5 is the company's first to sport a physical home button that features an integrated fingerprint sensor. Mi 5 sports a 16-megapixel Sony IMX298 camera sensor with PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and LED flash. It uses phase detection autofocus and Deep Trench Isolation for faster focusing and more accurate colours. The Mi 5 sports a 4-Ultrapixel front camera, with 2-micron pixels.
