Micromax subsidiary Yu Televentures is gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphone this month. Ahead of the launch, company founder Rahul Sharma spoke to Gadgets 360 about the company's strategy for upcoming smartphones and the relationship with Cyanogen. Now the number five smartphone vendor in the world , Vivo's growth has been nothing short of tremendous. This Chinese smartphone maker has come a long way since setting up shop in 2009, and has used its relatively premium positioning to develop a good reputation for itself in India. The Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a 5.15-inch 1080x1920 pixels display with curved 3D Ceramic glass, and a pixel density of 428ppi. The Mi 5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. The Mi 5 packs a 3000mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The Mi 5 is the company's first to sport a physical home button that features an integrated fingerprint sensor. Mi 5 sports a 16-megapixel Sony IMX298 camera sensor with PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and LED flash. It uses phase detection autofocus and Deep Trench Isolation for faster focusing and more accurate colours. The Mi 5 sports a 4-Ultrapixel front camera, with 2-micron pixels. It bears an f/2.0 aperture lens. Xiaomi Mi 5 measures 144.5x69.2x7.25mm and weighs 129 grams. The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) Xiaomi Mi 5 packs 32GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded.
